Rosh Hashana is the Jewish new year, usually coinciding with the beginning stages of the Fall semester!

[edit] Apples & honey

Apples & honey are not only a delicious food to share with your friends and peers at school, but they also symbolize having a sweet year, and are a key custom of Rosh Hashana. Give them out to friends and wish them the best for the coming year - who doesn't like snacking on some good sweet and healthy food together?! Not only can this be the beginning of a sweet year, but also a sweet relationship!

[edit] Prayer

Praying is also key part of Rosh Hashana, when the Book of Life is open & being filled.
